Located on the Brescian side of Lake Garda, just off the shores of San Felice del Benaco, the island is a true hidden gem.
Its greatest charm lies in the magnificent Venetian Neo-Gothic villa, designed by architect Luigi Rovelli in the early 1900s, an elegant, imposing residence filled with fascinating architectural details. Inside, it also preserves a beautiful 18th-century canvas by Carlo Carloni.
Below the villa, terraces and Italian-style gardens gently descend toward the lake. All around, lush and untouched vegetation flourishes, featuring a rich blend of local and exotic plants, rare species, and unique flowers.
We organize excursions with guided tours from late March / early April through October, every day except Monday.
Departures take place from various ports, which may vary depending on the day.
Booking is required.
Tours are available in Italian, English, and German, and include a guided visit to the gardens and part of the villa.
A welcome drink is included, featuring a tasting of a local wine and our DOP Garda Bresciano olive oil.
Bookings:
Please book by the day before your visit, and we strongly recommend purchasing your ticket directly on our website. This allows us to organize the tours more efficiently and reduce waiting times on the island.
Same-day bookings:
If you wish to book on the same day, please contact us via WhatsApp or email to confirm that the tour is available in your preferred language. Guides are assigned the day before based on existing reservations.
It is not possible to visit the Island independently.
The stay on the Island lasts 2–2.5 hours, depending on the number of participants and weather conditions.
The boat transfer takes 15–40 minutes each way, depending on the departure port.
Dogs are welcome on the Island.
Small dogs may also enter the villa, as long as they are carried in a bag or in your arms.
Medium or large dogs must wait outside during the indoor portion of the visit (about 15–20 minutes).
All dogs must remain on a leash for the entire visit.
Please inform us in advance if there are guests with disabilities.
To board the boat, guests must be able to take a few steps independently.
On the Island there are three staircases, each with about 25 steps. If a guest is unable to climb them, we can accompany them to the terrace with a golf cart; however, this means they will miss part of the garden and villa tour, which are accessible only via stairs.
Due to the uneven terrain and transport limitations, we do not recommend visiting with an electric wheelchair.
It is possible to visit the island with a dog, but dogs are not allowed in the villa, with the exception of small dogs (which can be carried in a carrier or in your arms).
Visitors with large or medium sized dogs will have to wait outside for the duration of the tour in the villa (15/20 minutes).
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

For some years now, Isola del Garda has created a project for children to raise awareness of environmental education and to teach them the history and way of life of this region, that is unrivalled for its naturalistic and cultural richness.
Isola del Garda is a place of incomparable beauty, rich in history and landscapes, surrounded by the magical, crystal clear waters of the lake.
This strip of land over the centuries has welcomed characters such as San Francesco d'Assisi, Sant'Antonio da Padova and Dante Alighieri and has been the scene of fascinating events as a refuge for pirates, as a hermitage for monks in prayer and as the headquarters of a Savoy garrison at the dawn of the Kingdom of Italy.
Today it is home to an important neo-Gothic Venetian style villa built in the nineteenth century and is adorned with Italian and English hanging gardens and a centuries-old park that welcomes essences from the most remote corners of the globe.
Isola del Garda puts at your disposal competent guides who will share with you of the history of this place and accompany you in discovering the most exclusive views of the lake seen from an unique perspective.
The park on the island offers a real enchanted forest in which children can enjoy an experience completely immersed in nature. They will have the opportunity to see, touch and discover new colors and scents that will remain etched in their memories. Children are free to wander around the park, allowing them to discover small paths and get lost in complete safety.
Our proposal for young children: A botanical treasure hunt, an activity to bring children closer to nature through imagination and play.
